Success Stories - 2003!
Page 1

Rusty (aka Buddy) is a handsome young Golden Retriever who was adopted in January, 2003 by the Kinney family. He loves to sleep on the couch and go for walks!

Cody, a 7 year old Golden Retriever, found himself in need of a new home when his family was moving and couldn't take him along.  Not only did he get his own family, but he got his own girl to call his own!
Cody was adopted in January, 2003 by the Butland family.

Princess was turned in to rescue by her owner for digging, something most Goldens love to do!  The Tobias family welcomed her with open arms into their home in January, 2003.  Princess got a new name - Roxy - and kids and other dogs to play with too!

"Tipper" was originally adopted from an animal shelter, and then turned into rescue when the family's child was allergic to him.  He is now the pampered pooch in the Johnson family, renamed "Yogi".  This energetic Border Collie mix goes for bike rides, hiking, camping - you name it!
What a lucky boy he is!

"Lady Grace" was rescued from a Los Angeles animal shelter.  With the help of generous contributions from our supporters, she had surgery to remove several growths before being adopted by the Wight family in January, 2003.

Merry, now known as "Sandy", came into rescue when she was chasing the families cats.  She is now in a kitty-less home with the Berryman family, and has learned such commands as "sit", "down" and "off".  She has also learned all about sleeping on the couches and chairs!

Missy Bear's family was moving and couldn't take her along.  She was a shy, timid girl when she entered rescue, but is blossoming in her new home with Angel family.  Missy was adopted in January, 2003.

Dreyfus, the little guy lying down, was adopted in 2002 by the Kazebee family.  He now has a new sister, also a RFSC rescue, Casey - a true retriever and tennis ball fanatic!

Sara, a yellow Labrador Retriever, is now the happy pooch in the Smith family!  She lives in the mountains and has nice big yard to play in.  However, she much prefers to be in the house with her family!

Shakobe O'Bryan joined the Stephens family in January, 2003.  He loves to go to the park, and of course, play with his toys!

Austin & Kodi, Labrador Retrievers, wanted a home together and they got one with the Pagliusos family!

Emmett came to rescue because he was too rowdy with his family's elderly dogs.  He needed a friend and playmate.  When he joined the Sweeney family in April, 2003, he got a new "sister", Bailey, who enjoys playing chase and tug of war with the water bottle!
