From Zeke's Family:
We acquired Zeke in the summer of 2010. He soon became a part of our family.
When I retired in the summer of 2013, he became my constant companion. He went everywhere with me. We learned to communicate. We could read each other. I talked to him like I talked to anyone and he responded in his best dog english and mannerisms.
He greeted everyone we met, I often referred to him as our ambassador.
Over the past couple of months, Zeke has been in a fierce battle. While his illness remained elusive, it eventually overwhelmed him.
Although we are outwardly saddened by the loss of our beloved Zeke, we know that in the end, he was victorious. We truly believe in our hearts that he is no longer in pain and his strength and vitality has returned.
In our minds, he will always be the Zeke that brought us and everyone who met him incredible love and joy.
Bye Zeke
