From Pootie's family:
Last year, my husband and I
adopted our sweet senior lady
"Pootie" (formerly Haley) from
you.
We
changed her name back to
"Pootie" (which according to her
paperwork, had been her name
prior to being at R&F) because
she responded better to it. She
was instantly the best addition
to our family.
We adored everything about her
and spoiled her in every way we
could. She loved going camping
with us (more like 'glamping'
with her memory foam bed and
fancy treats) and loved her long
walks around the neighborhood
and trips to the dog beach.
Even though we had less than a
year with her, we cannot imagine
a better companion and time
together. Pootie passed away
from spleen cancer and we will
forever feel the loss in our
home.
Thank you so much Retrievers
& Friends, for allowing us to
spend this last year of her life
together. we can only hope to
find another companion as sweet
and loving as Pootie. Ive
attached some photos from our
adventures.
