In 2014 I adopted Max, a beautiful creme Golden Retreiver from your organization, my beloved Max passed away yesterday after 5 years of a truly wonderful friendship. Max was 8 years old when I adopted him, he was a beautiful, sweet dog and he knew it! On our walks he would hold his head high and prance, people would stop to admire him and he loved it. As he got older, it became more and more difficult for him to enjoy the walks, but there were still the “puppy moments” when we played ball even though he tired out easily. Yesterday morning his body finally gave out and left this world to spend his days at the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for giving me this beautiful experience, without you Max and I would have never met. I will miss him for the rest of my life. The picture below was taken 2 months ago (December 2018).
